Hey everyone. My name is Coach Daniel Decker. I'm a second year teacher here at Highland. Prior to teaching, I spent 12 years in the Army and 5 years as a 911 dispatcher in Abilene Texas. I'm a 2019 graduate of Hardin Simmons University. I've traveled all over the world and experienced a lot of different cultures. It is my hope that my experiences help your kiddos as we explore Cultural Geography and New Mexico History. I understand that the 2020-2021 year is going to be difficult for all of us. I think, though, that if we work together we can make this year a success for all involved. Let's all give it our best, despite the circumstances, and have a great year. #GoBears #GoEagles
