Principal Michael Ryan - Mr. Ryan moved to New Mexico from New York City. He graduated from NMSU and began his teaching career split between Highland and Houston. After his first year, he moved to Highland full time and began work on his Masters Degree at USW. After seven years teaching US History and coaching, he moved to administration for the 2019-2020 school year.

School Counselor Stephanie Wright. Mrs. Wright has worked in the area of student services in Hobbs Municipal Schools for years. She moved to Highland as Counselor at the beginning of the 2014 school year. Prior to being a middle school counselor, she was an elementary school counselor. |
Parents, Staff, and Students, we are thrilled to be here at Highland. We hope that our combination of experiences and specialty areas will benefit our school. We look forward to building a community within a community at Highland and creating an open and welcoming atmosphere for everyone.
